I can't for the life of me get this thing to work. I installed it on my phone (Samsung S6), it pairs ok. But then continually says it has lost the connection to Visual Studio.
I thought it must be dodgy wifi so I installed the app onto my Android Emulator and again it pairs ok but then constantly the same lost connection error. I mean really? How can you lose connection when both VS and the Emulator are on the same machine?
So of course I gave up a long time ago. Then started playing with Flutter's hot reload which works amazing and thought why doesn't Xamarin have something similar. So I decided to give Live Player another go (have never ever gotten an app to deploy to it) and still the same VS connection issues after a successful pair.
I have to ask, do any of you actually use this or what ? I understand it's beta, blah, blah, but it's been out for a hell of a long time.. Is there any plan for a Flutter'esque hot reload or is this the best we get ?
ps: one more thing, that annoying banner that appears in VS asking if you want to use live player, when I say 'Dont Show Again', because it doesn't work, and guess what, a few days later it will ask me again. So could you at least get that fixed to not show again. thanks.
