Command prompt in mac. I frequently find that a Terminal command to open a file in TextEdit would be very handy. Does such a command exist on Mac OS X? In the Windows command prompt, I can type notepad helloworld.cpp which will then create a.cpp file with the name helloworld and open up Notepad for me.
